The iPhone Dev Team have released a video that demonstrates the iPhone 3G running the version 3.0 firmware being unlocked so it can be used on any carrier, they have changed the name to ultrasn0w from yellowsn0w.
We are not sure if the unlock will work on the new iPhone 3GS but will work on peoples iPhone 3G that have upgraded their baseband, this was not possible using yellowsn0w.
Ultrasn0w is expected to be released on Friday.
